COOKIE POLICY

1. What is a cookie and what is it used for?

Cookies were created in 1994 by Lou Montulli, a Netscape employee, to solve problems regarding limitations in identifying computers connected to a Web page. Without cookies, sites cannot know whether two requests are coming from the same device, so it is necessary to assign labels to them.

Cookies are saved in the visitor's hard disk or computer memory. A cookie is a small file that is sent from a web server (which is the computer on which the visited website is running) to the user's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and saved on your device when you visit a website like Kiklosonline. Cookies allow the site to function efficiently and improve its performance, they also give information to the owner of kiklos for statistical or advertising purposes, mainly to personalize the browsing experience by remembering preferences and navigation modes.

The cookie is akin to a uniquely personal identification card, whose job is to notify kiklos when you return. Many websites, including www.allmaterialsupply.it (the "Site"), make use of them. Cookies tell how often you visit pages, which helps us understand what information visitors might be interested in. This way, we can offer more content that interests a specific behavior and less that is not in line with what the user may not be interested in. Cookies help to be more efficient and store preferences and user names, register products and services, and personalize pages.

Cookies do not collect directly identifying information about the user. In fact, Kiklos cannot through cookies trace any directly personally identifying information (e.g., first name, last name) unless provided directly by the user. In addition, another website cannot use a cookie issued by the Site to access other information stored on the user's computer. Once saved on your computer, the cookie can only be read by the website that created it (and thus, in our case, by www.allmaterialsupply.it). In practice, if you do not sign up for the Site and do not enter any personal information, the only thing the server knows is that someone with that cookie has come back to visit. Nothing else.

Cookies can be "session" (when they are stored only for the duration of the site browsing session and are deleted when the browser is closed), or "permanent" (they are stored for a longer time, until they expire or until they are deleted by the user).

2. The cookies used by the Site

all material supply uses different types of cookies and related technologies, each of which has a specific function.

To optimize use of the site and full functionality of the online shopping process and personalized features, your computer, tablet, or mobile device must accept cookies. Our Cookie Use Policy provides information regarding the type of cookies used and how they are managed, controlled, and deleted.

We would like to specify that cookies do not harm your device.

Browsing cookies

From the first access, these cookies allow the site to function properly and allow you to view content on your device by recognizing the language and market of the country from which you have chosen to connect. If you are a registered user, they will allow them to recognize you and access the services offered in the dedicated areas. Browsing cookies are technical cookies and are necessary for the operation of the site.

Such cookies are usually temporary, so-called "session cookies," and are issued by the Site on the user's computer during browsing, but are stored only for the duration of the browsing session itself. This means that when the user closes his browser the cookies are automatically deleted and disappear, without remaining stored on the computer. They consist of random numbers generated by the server and are used to enable safe and efficient exploration of the Site.

Functional Cookies

These cookies make it possible, based on your expressed request, to facilitate the user's navigation within the Site , for example by recognizing you on subsequent accesses so that you do not have to enter your data on each visit (e.g., "Recognize me next time," so-called authentication cookies).

If you have added items to your Shopping Bag and closed the session without completing the purchase and without deleting them, these cookies allow you to continue shopping the next time you access the site (within a limited period) by finding the selected items again.

Functional cookies are not essential to the operation of the site, but they improve the quality and experience of navigation.

Analytical Cookies

These cookies are used to process statistical analysis of how users navigate our site.

All material supply.co.uk processes the results of these analyses anonymously and solely for statistical purposes only if the service provider uses cookies in connection with the browser used or on other devices used to browse the site. The site uses some third-party services that, quite independently, install their own cookies.

Marketing and profiling cookies

These cookies are intended to create profiles related to the user in order to send commercial messages that meet the preferences expressed during the visit or to improve your browsing experience: while you browse our site these cookies are useful to show you products of your interest or similar to those you have viewed. These cookies are issued by the Site on the user's computer during browsing and are also stored beyond for the duration of the browsing session itself, until they expire or until you delete them (so-called "permanent cookies").

The use of such cookies requires the express and informed consent of the user.

Social Network Cookies

These cookies are necessary to allow your social account to interact with our Site. They are used, for example, to let you express your appreciation and share it with your social friends. Social network cookies are not necessary for browsing.
